As the largest medical provider on the island, Malta Red Cross not only offers medical support but also a range of other services including Lifeguarding services, Land and Water Rescue, Refugee Support and a National Disaster Response team.
With the recent launch of the National Disaster Preparedness Hub, Malta Red Cross can now also provide shelter for up to 500 people in the event of a large-scale national disaster, while providing medical treatment for up to 100 people in an emergency.

Land and Water Rescue
|
Malta Red Cross does not concentrate on being a rescue unit. Since medical support may be required in difficult-to-reach areas, we ensure that our volunteers are highly trained in rescue techniques and can provide critical medical assistance without delay. |

Restoring Family Links
|
Restoring Family Links (RFL) offer a number of services to migrants, primarily those that have made the journey by boat from Northern Africa, either during their period of detention or later in open centres. |
