Please check the course schedule below for availability. This page is updated constantly and the information will be correct at the time of your booking. Please refresh the page before placing your booking if you have left it open.

Our courses are available in both 'Online' and mixed online and 'in person' course sessions, for both companies and individuals. Certificates will be sent in pdf format via email upon successful completion of the course.

Participants who have done their course completely online, will be given the opportunity to attend a 1 hour practical session at Pembroke, according to a schedule provided at the end of the online course.

For course sessions being held at our training centre in Pembroke, please remember to bring your face mask/visor with you.

Bookings are usually processed on the next business date and are on a 'first come first served' basis. You will be advised by reply email if the number of participants has exceeded the maximum number allowed.

How do I apply?

Simply fill out the form below and press the submit button ONCE.

The details inputted below, such as your Full Name (i.e. Joe Borg) and your ID card/Passport numbers, will be printed on your certificate. Please check correct spelling of your details as a Eur 5 certificate reprint/reissue fee will apply.

Payment instructions may be found below. RESTRICTIONS APPLY DUE TO COVID-19 THUS PLEASE SEE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE BOOKING. Any bookings received without payment may not be honoured.

Group/private bookings 

If you want private booking for up to 15 people for an online course, at our training center or an alternative location that suits your group, please email your requirements on courses@redcross.org.mt

How do I pay?


Payment must be received at our head office, no later than 1 week before the commencement of your course. All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment only, and we reserve the right to replace your booking with another paid booking without prior notification.

Please consider that your payment has been received well if you do not receive any news from us.

Internet Banking (only accepted if is effected no less than 5 working days prior to the course commencing).

HSBC: Please visit your bank website and choose 'Malta Red Cross' from the vendor list.

Please remember to insert the participant's ID card number(s) in the 'reference box, narrative, customer reference' etc.

During office hours, the funds will be taken and the links to join the sessions will be emailed to the participant.

Paypal - Not currently available due to Paypal restrictions in place.

Cheque - Not currently available as payment option due to COVID-19 measures.

Please write the participant's ID card number(s) on the back of the cheque. 

Cash - Not available with Online courses.

You must email courses@redcross.org.mt and advise the Training Coordinator that you will be paying by cash, otherwise your place may be lost to other participants who pre-pay for their course.

Kindly take the exact amount with you as change is not available, and hand it to the first aid instructor on the first day of your course, before the session commences.


University Students

University students registered for PHE 105 are to pay at Maltapost Msida Campus and take the receipt to Room 203 at the University Sports Complex or send a scanned copy to ipes@um.edu.mt.

This form of payment only applies to Basic First Aid courses and does not include first aid ID cards which must be paid for beforehand.

Will I get a certificate?

Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate valid for 3 years will be issued by the Malta Red Cross Society, on the last day or so of the course, in a printable pdf format.

This certificate is recognised internationally as well as locally, by both the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority as per L.N. 348 of 2011.
