Malta Red Cross offers a wide variety of courses, ranging from Basic First Aid to Refresher courses.
Basic First Aid
A fourteen-hour course where participants are trained in essential first aid skills that can prove vital when faced with a medical emergency.
Emergency First Aid
A basic six-hour course offering an overview of a number of life-saving techniques in the event of an injury or medical emergency.
Paediatric First Aid
This four-hour course is an add-on to the First Aid Course. Participants must already hold a valid Malta Red Cross First Aid Certificate in order to take this course
Basic Life Support
A four-hour course which provides training in lifesaving techniques to use with a casualty suffering from breathing problems, loss of consciousness, circulatory problems or heart problems.
A five-hour course which provides training in lifesaving techniques to use with a casualty suffering from breathing problems, loss of consciousness or circulatory problems
First Aid Refresher
A four-hour course for those who already hold a valid First Aid Certification, and would like to refresh their skills and/or extend their current certificate.
Adult and Paediatric First Aid
A sixteen-hour course which covers essential first aid skills that can provide crucial assistance in a medical emergency, involving either adults or children.
